Thank You Volunteers: Arc’s Value Village

DGS Volunteers at Arc Value Village

On Saturday, April 11, DGS United hosted our first volunteering event of the 2026 Season welcoming MNUFC fans to spend a couple of hours helping out at the Arc’s Value Villagein New Hope. The six volunteers had a great time sorting and folding donated clothing and then putting items ready to be sold out on the Value Village retail floor. Arc’s Value Village processes over 3 tons of donated goods a day, so they appreciate any volunteer help they can get. During the two hours the volunteers worked you could see a steady stream of items coming in, items being readied for sale, and items being sold.

Our volunteers generous gift of time allows The Arc to fulfill their mission of inclusion, justice, equity and belonging for people with disabilities in our community and contributes to DGS building a community of fans Doing Good Stuff in our community. We had fun sharing the experience with fellow Loons fans! You can expect future DGS United events at Arc in the future.
