Supporting Our Communities, One Bag at a Time

Volunteers preparing food bags for clients.

Every Friday, Keystone Community Services hosts a free farmers market at rotating locations, providing fresh produce to individuals and families in need across surrounding neighborhoods. As a nonprofit organization, Keystone is deeply committed to strengthening communities through responsive, community-informed programs, serving youth, families, seniors, and anyone facing food insecurity or crisis.

“People should volunteer for Keystone Community Services because volunteering is the best way to give back to your community and free farmers markets are super fun, easy, and low pressure. You can come with your family, friends, coworkers, or team and do something together that benefits your community!” -Georgi Nguyen, Keystone Community Services

Their services include food shelves, public food distributions, and free farmers markets. All hosted in welcoming, neighborhood-based settings to ensure dignity and accessibility for those they serve.

Recently, Minnesota United FC partner Allianz sent a team of employees to volunteer at one of Keystone’s free farmers markets. Alongside volunteers from DGS United, they packed and distributed over 100 bags of produce to members of the local community.

Events like these offer a unique opportunity to give back while connecting with coworkers and neighbors. If you're looking for a way to make a tangible difference in your community, consider spending a Friday morning volunteering with Keystone Community Services. You’ll help nourish both bodies and hearts.

The next dates for MNUFC free farmers market at Allianz Field are August 8 & September 12th. You can sign-up here to join us: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/8050F4DABAE2AAAFA7-57479098-mnufc#/
