Fans Doing Good: Thank You

On Saturday, June 13, DGS United hosted a volunteer event for MNUFC fans at Second Harvest Heartland in Brooklyn Park. Volunteers had a great time preparing food boxes for distribution to our neighbors in need. Over the course of the two-hour shift, we helped to pack 674 boxes. That’s over 10 tons of food, which translates to almost 18,000 meals!

Second Harvest’s mission to end hunger together goes hand in hand with DGS United’s goal to build a community of fans Doing Good Stuff in our community. And in addition to doing good stuff, having fun (and getting a workout), the volunteers from our May and June events are entered into a drawing for signed Loons gear!
